olyPhaze entered 2026 with more markets than message. Customers were pulling real value across BI, data governance, master data management, migration, and ETL. Every one of those stories was true, and that was the difficulty; a narrative spread across five markets carries none of them at full strength. With new entrants arriving and a growth round ahead, one lane had to be chosen.

The answer was already in the pattern. Each of those markets was a different symptom of the same underlying condition: business data no one could fully trust. Five names, one problem and PolyPhaze had been solving the problem the whole time. They just needed the right story.

Steve Strout, CEO of PolyPhaze

“Sergio understood our business in days, not months, and turned that understanding into one story the whole company tells the same way.”

Understand

Understand

Steve filled in Dialog’s positioning workbook “in complete isolation” before anyone met, then the leadership team spent three days in Atlanta testing what the company believed against the evidence. The audit mapped the five credible markets and the library of proof behind each one: the raw material of a company with more true stories than one homepage can hold. The work was choosing between good ones, and three days in a room gave the team an evidence-based way to do it.

Message

Message

We picked the lane: a trusted data intelligence platform, with the Knowledge Fabric as the how, not the headline. Palantir sells AI-driven decisions, so PolyPhaze would sell actions and outcomes; urgency lines were demoted to sales scripts and a “What We Don’t Say” table keeps everyone honest. The homepage went from a generic headline to “Trust the data. Act with confidence.”

Every rep now has the same answer to “we’ll just plug Claude into Databricks”, word for word, in one signed-off messaging doc. The persona and vertical messaging fed straight into a new website. Live in June, ready for the growth push it was built to power.

KICKOFF TO LIVE SITE

The site went live in late June, in time for the growth push it was built to power. The tagline now sits in Steve’s own email signature and the company-wide LinkedIn push. Day to day, one messaging doc answers the hard buyer questions before they come up, and naming decisions that once ran for weeks settle in 48 hours because there’s an architecture to settle them against.
